How’s it going everyone?!
We’re now in the process of registering Love 21 Foundation as a registered charity. I have dreamed of this for a long time! I think I have some amazing ideas on how I can better the lives of those with Down Syndrome in Hong Kong.
For long time readers of this blog, Thanks! You’ve obviously seen this blog change so much! It’s gone from a site with many different writers on a variety of topics to now, just little ol’ me! But, obviously this site is a lot bigger than me! We’ve created a movement. It’s not huge. But, it’s so positive!
Raising cash while having a blast
Helping people in caged homes
Getting youth involved
Spreading love
Providing some relief
I’m very proud of the group we’ve created and I’m pumped up to keep this going! Our group is just growing and with that comes the opportunity to make more positive impact.
We also raised a lot of Cash for Sarah, pictured below, and her family. You can see more on this story HERE.
I spoke with Sarah yesterday and her orthodontic work is now completed and is waiting for her cleft lip operation. Her spirits were very high. Stay tuned for more updates on her situation.
So, what’s the short term future of this blog?
With myHK, I want to write more. Time is definitely limited these days, but I plan on being a lot more active in my blog writing. That may be a good thing for you, and you may be hitting unsubscribe right now! 🙂 But, I do feel that I have a lot to say and I’m just going to go for it.
With impactHK, we’re going to continue helping out the homeless once a month. We’ll also have fundraising parties once in a while and who knows. It’s been quite an organic movement from day 1, so let’s just see where this goes. I think if we continue on this path of doing nice deeds for those in need, we can’t really go wrong.
We’re having another junk party on Friday night the 26th of June, 8pm-Midnight, $350 all you can drink, to raise some money for Love 21 Foundation. If you are interested in coming, or have any questions, send me an email to theguestroom@icloud.com.
Cheers everyone and hope you’re having a great day!
Oh yeah! Ill be announcing our next handout to the homeless tomorrow! Hope to see you there too!
Make it a good one!

Monsieur J, I can only echo what Brielle says about your huge heart and passion for making the world a better home for so many disadvantaged people. Best of luck with your business ventures, and I am waiting for the next “Helping the Homeless (but are they?) event.

HI! I bought a book and a case from the Sassy x BaoBae fair a couple of weeks ago! I didn’t know it was a Kickstarter backed project and neither did I know of this website until I connected with the lady who is leading tonight’s handout in Happy Valley. Funny how things work huh? The universe is connected in a very karmic way, isn’t it? Anyway, best wishes for everything. I just wanted to pop in and say hi.
Hi Lau Ross!
Very funny how this all came together!!
Thanks for purchasing the books!!
Unfortunately I won’t be in Hong Kong to make it to the handout in happy valley. But hope it’s a good one!
Hope to see you at another event soon!
Cheers!
