streetSnap: My first 10000

MF (7)

“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst” – Henri Cartier-Bresson. My first 10,000 were certainly my worst, well they’re not all that bad or else they would be in the bin. Let’s just say I took pictures of almost everything, tried every type of editing and obsessed over every new technique. Nowadays I am not shutter happy anymore, I have a much clearer idea of what shoot when out and about. It’s either street photography or landscape, however I’m always on the look out for a good picture of my lunch, lol. I am also much more critical of the images that remain in my library; sometimes only 1 or 2 are kept from a walkabout. Anyway, enough chit-chat, here are 10 from my first 10000, all shot in Hong Kong.

These are all interesting. In particular I like the one with the crystal ball and the woman in defensive mode also.
