streetSNAP: The Umbrella Revolution, Part 2
The Hong Kong protest has been dubbed the ‘Umbrella Revolution’ because of the humble umbrellas usefulness in protecting oneself against extreme police crowd control like teargas, pepper spray and stray batons. Who would have thought? Here are a couple of pics of umbrellas in use at the protest. As a photographer with a 10 month old baby, I’m not one for getting myself into dangerous situation, so unfortunately i don’t have any pictures from THAT night(Sunday 28th September).
