This summer was just awesome!
I got to spend some one on one time with my daughter back in beautiful British Columbia. Three weeks to be exact! Which felt like an eternity for Mrs.J, but she did get some quality time of her own in gay Paris…
As many of you know, teamwork parenting can be a tricky challenge a lot of the time with toddlers because they usually lean or depend on one of the parents more than the other.
Getting this one on one time put me in the driver’s seat and my daughter only had one direction to turn to.
The trip also gave me a greater appreciation of all that Mrs.J does for our family. Having more gratefulness never hurt anyone.
In the end, this trip brought me and my daughter even closer and I’m so thankful that I got the chance to do it.
So we’re all back in sunny Hong Kong now. The skies have actually been clean and clear since we’ve been back!
