impactHK: Event 4 Announcement
Hello everyone!
I’m going to break the rules a bit for impactHK’s event 4…
Where typically we would vote on the next event, we’ve been handed an opportunity this time that I think would be a mistake to pass on.
We are going to revisit the homeless living in the Nam Cheong/Sham Shui Po area to hand out food and other useful items.
I’ve been contacted by a secondary school teacher here in Hong Kong who has 8 students interested in joining us, and I’ve also had some interest from a few other younger ones.
I think this is a great opportunity to give them the experience of giving to the less fortunate, hopefully making a significant impact on their lives as well.
This would be a good time for you to bring or invite younger ones to come along.
This doesn’t mean that you’re not invited to join us as well!! And it doesn’t mean that we won’t be going to that Indian restaurant for a few beers and snacks afterwards!!
So who’s in?! The more the merrier!

Each person will need to donate $100 and based on how many email confirmations I get, I will buy as much food and drink as I can.

Tuesday 8th July, 8:00pm
Nam Cheong MTR Station, exit A
I will have the bags ready to go around 8:00, and we should be finished handing out the bags by 9:30.
