A Hong Kong blog that does a lot more than blog

Street snap: Night work, part 1

I come from Durban, South Africa and was always interested to see what the city life was like after offices closed, restaurants gave last orders and store gates slammed shut. I never got the chance to explore my home city because of rampant crime and dodgy inner city dwellers. However, Hong Kong streets at night are surprisingly safe, and just as busy in the evening and in the wee hours of the morning as they are in the day. HK is really the city that never sleeps!

Next week, I’ll be showcasing some of the portraits of quirky characters I have met in the streets. Here’s a teaser; gold teeth, toothpicks, berets and rose tinted sun glasses.Sean (the photographer)

    Awesome post Sean!!
I’m guessing the 4am shot was before the new arrival…?

Those days are numbered mate! 🙂

    Keep up the great work!
