Hong Kong’s shoreline has been under construction for several years. The North shore has gone though several land reclamations since the early 1950s. E and I decided to explore one area called the Tamar Site and see how the transformation is going.
To our surprise, we were greeted with a grassy green park that led right to the waterfront. Also to our surprise, were benches and winding pedestrian paths. We were very excited to discover this new outdoor public space! We sat and enjoyed a picnic then continued to explore. Check out what we found!
The Tamar Site is located just on the waterfront in Admiralty, not far from Pacific Place. If you’re like me, missing green open space, this is worth checking out! Mrs. J
