The Source: Spoons

I’ve mentioned I’m an Architect, mother and love to make things, but I also am a collector. I collect spoons, rocks and bells. I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and have collected bowls and jars full of rocks. Often my bag is heavier on the way home just due to the amount of rocks I couldn’t part with on holiday! I’ve acquired a spoon or two from most of those countries as well.  My favorite set of spoons I’ve collected was a set of 5 sterling silver spoons only about 2″ long from the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey (shown in the picture above).

Local source for unique spoons: In Hong Kong, I’ve found some rather special Enameled Sterling Demitasse spoons originally from Norway at DEEM, 252 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan.

I’ll be sharing sourcing finds every Thursday. Come back and see me!

Is there something specific you’re looking for? Maybe I can help.
Drop me a comment. Mrs. J
